recorder'?

what exactly did you say?

i'd ask the guy to visit my bbs and try it out and have teamviewer up so he 
can see what is going on in the background.
why is your bbs program  pooping out those extra characters?

the way to fix this is to not accept anything except those commands
on the main menu. it accepts any data as a no for ansi and it picks a mode of 
knk.
