That might have been me. I do run a QuickBBS setup on MSDOS 6.22 with Desqview
on a P4 right now. It was a little touchy to setup but runs really well now.
Once I figured out the DPMI memory issues it has been pretty solid for months.
 
It's pretty amazing to have all that RAM (well 256M out of 1G) and using DV.
Every session gets 16M of RAM and it's very cozy. :)
