Hmmm.... you didn't say anything, just quoted me back....

However, in the meantime, I checked on what we use for receiving and
sending email.  It's something that my husband wrote, called POP3/SMTP
Client, and it is available for download at Waldo's Place USA
(bbs.wpusa.dynip.com).  Also available there is what I use for telnet,
also written by him, TNPort...
