Greetings All,

We're excited to announce a new gated information service now live in the
lists.cisa-advisories echo!

Thanks to the Cyberity team's efforts, critical US CISA (Cybersecurity and
Infrastructure Security Agency) alerts and advisories are now automatically
gated into FidoNet. This includes timely information on vulnerabilities,
active threat warnings, mitigation advice, and system patch notifications
straight from the official CISA feeds.

What you can expect:
        o       Summaries and full advisories for new security vulnerabilities
        o       Emergency alerts for active exploits (such as ransomware
campaigns, critical zero-day threats, etc.)
        o       Guidance on protective actions for network administrators and
users

Why this matters:
In today's fast-moving cyber threat landscape, getting accurate, official
information quickly is crucial. By bringing CISA advisories directly into the
Fidonet ecosystem, we aim to help sysops, security hobbyists, and network
defenders stay better informed and prepared.

Notes:
        o       Messages are gated in a compressed, echo-friendly format.
        o       Advisory references link back to the official CISA.gov
documentation.
        o       No moderation delays - information is near real-time once
released publicly.
