Emergency communicators and others may find the following information
of use.  FOllow the provided instructions to obtain further
information, or contact the listed sources.

The  ARRL Delta Division emergency net has been activated to
facilitate communications for those in  the  storm  effected
area. THe net can be found on 3890 or 7275 khz. THe net will
handle  emergency  or  priority  traffic  only,  along  with
information  or  inquiries  from  the  storm event area. All
other traffic please use other frequencies and services.

The ARRL  Louisiana  section  asks  that  those  originating
health  &  welfare  traffic  destined  for the impacted area
please refrain for 72 hours after the storm  makes  landfall
as  of  8/28/2012.  We hope our Fidonet friends in Louisiana
have taken any necessary steps to protect life and property.
