RW>HI Daryl,
Hi, Richard...
I'm normally not up this early, but wanted to get my InterBBS games in
before the weather went downhill later today.
RW>Yep, and he went in and tracked west of New Orleans.
As of 3am CDT, Aug. 31...it looked as if the remnants were between Mena and
Mount Ida in west Arkansas, lifting north toward Harrison and Fayetteville.
RW>We're probably going to wind things down today, unless your
>section manager decides he needs the division emergency net
>we'll probably wrap things up.
The Storm Prediction Center still has a slight risk for severe storms and
tornadoes across central and east Arkansas through tonight. The rain has been
welcome, but the winds have caused a lot of downed trees, and power outages.
RW>wow that's too bad. But, if I moved back to a city and had
>to do repeaters only I'd probably give up ham radio.
At least I still have Echolink (single user setup), D-Star (DV Dongle),
Packet Via Telnet, and VE Testing. Otherwise, I'd be getting out of ham radio
myself.
RW>GOod luck on that med procedure.
Thanks...it was originally scheduled for Aug. 31, but it was moved back
until Sept. 27...probably more for the holiday weekend, than for Isaac. The
outcome of that will determine whether I have to go back under the knife or
not.
Daryl, AE5WX
