Attention Midatlantic and eastern seaboard hams and other
emergency communicators:

The hurricane watch net will commence operating MOnday at
8:00 a.m. eastern time, or 1200 UTC. Frequencies used will
be the usual 20 meter frequency of 14.325 mhz.
Additionally, the network will utilize 7268 khz on 40 meters and 3950 khz on
75 meters as propagation dictates.

IN addition to their MOnday operation for the duration they
will offer an opportunity for emergency operations centers
and otehr temporary installations to check out their
equipment Sunday at 1700 EDT. 2100 UTC. on those same
frequencies.

Please do not provide the HWN data from media or other
weather reporters, as they will ahve access to this data.
Only provide them measured conditions at your location.

Those not in the impacted area are invited to listen, but
asked to refrain from transmitting please.

oTherwise, if you live in areas that will be affected,
including high winds, etc. be prepared for possibly extended power outages,
and take all precautions necessary to protect yourself and your property.
