I don't know how good it is for the different bands that are commonly used;
I guess I need to break my lethargy and start reading the HAM test guide
materials in order to know enough about that. From what I've been able to
glean it sounds like it's an okay old-school receiver/transmitter, but a little
bit overpriced. Also, it's all analog, and I'm seriously doubting that it'd
work with anything AX.25, which I also want the capability of. You are correct
in that it does not come with the antenna.
