emergency frequency in the western hemisphere.
THis weekly news synopsis is posted to net controls on 14300 khz along with

a tip of the hat to our ever faithful relays! with
conditions as they have been it's great to have good
disciplined relays on frequency.
ONe day this past week, while ncs was having technical
difficulties a regular relay op continued on even while
experiencing medical difficulties of his own. All was
resolved and operations continued.
A special attaboy to the John and JOhn team, that's WB3FOX
and K7VNU! WIth either one of these guys on frequency I know
I can comfortably hand off to them for relay calls, and even
allow double hop relays and still maintain a controlled net.
Although the aforementioned pair won't be reading this
chances are, I thought they were worth a special mention in
this space. Be sure to remind them now and then how much we
appreciate their efforts.
