Brief notes on the activity taking place on the most active
emergency frequency in the western hemisphere.

THis weekly news synopsis is posted to net controls on 14300 khz along with
other reports every SUnday morning.  IF you spend any time

FOur audio streams of 14300 khz.  Receivers located in
MObile, Alabama; MIami, FLorida; BLoomington, Minnesota and
San Diego, CAlifornia.

Another successful rescue this last week! Numerous operators
were involved both Thursday and Friday with  the  rescue  of
DAvid  kj5tc,  and  captain  Robertaboard s/V Zephyr off the
coast of  Belize.  As  of  2100  UTC.  approximately  Friday
afternoon it was reported by km4ma on the net that they were
under tow to safe harbor. Kudos  to  ki4mmz,  kc5ago,  km4ma
ve3bzw and others.
