emergency frequency in the western hemisphere.

THis weekly news synopsis is posted to net controls on 14300 khz along with
other reports every SUnday morning.  IF you spend any time

FOur audio streams of 14300 khz.  Receivers located in
MObile, Alabama; MIami, FLorida; BLoomington, Minnesota and
San Diego, CAlifornia.

SIlent  key:  Over  the  years many ncs ops have worked with
Alan LEvine, wa5lqz  from  Lake  Charles,  La.  Alan  was  a
reliable  and  diligent  relay  station  and  expert traffic
handler using CW, SSB and various digital modes.  Alan  also
servedas  Section emergency coordinator for Louisiana during
Hurricane Katrina, and was instrumental in  getting  amateur
radio  communications  support into the various hospitals in
the lSU hospitals network throughout the state.
