Yes, that's the way I pronounce it. It's not uncommon for people in different
parts of the world to pronounce words differently.
In western Canada for example, using the word theater. I pronounce it..
Thee at er.
My relatives in eastern Canada (Nova Scotia) pronounce it..
Tea ate er.
They drop the h in the pronounciation, although the spelling is the same.
