Hi, Alexander! Recently you wrote in a message to All:
AK> "Daddy, what is opera?"
AK> "Well, it is when one person kills another and

... usually in Italian, German, or French. :-Q
I've noticed similar tendencies in Shakespeare's plays. The plots
are often quite complicated, and when various people get into a brawl in Act V
they go on at length to inform us they're dying. Maybe that is what had to be
done, years ago, to reassure paying audiences they'd got their money's
worth.... :-)
