ya it can be like that in downtown chicago here.  Well more with the parking
situation then driving, unless it's rush hour..  Parking meteres downtown can
be like $4-5 an hour casue tehy just sold them all to private companies,, then
the parking garages are $12-14  for an hour or two as well.. just makes it ass
to drive into the city unless you have somewhere to park.
