|  Issues with node polling in  |
|  12 May 19 20:44:56  |
 TID: Mystic BBS 1.12 A43 MSGID: 3:770/100 3d6d4f18 TZUTC: 1200 I have a FD running and nodes poll to collect held packets. There is a new node trying to setup and connect but it seems his connections sometimes work other times it looks like FD thinks his node is a human caller. When a connection is made packets held for him are not being sent. The packets are in a static queue with a status of 'spool hold' and pointing to files in a directory path with a *.* wildcard Now the same process is used for all other nodes who poll in and that works fine, files are sending, just not this new node. I think the issue is likely to be on his end but am unsure what else to suggest to him. Logs at my end look like this [snip] = 14:10:10 RING = 14:10:14 RING = 14:10:15 CONNECT 57600/ARQ 14:10:15 Sending text in C:\FD\NOBBS.TXT + 14:10:19 The Lower Planes, 21:3/105 ~ 14:10:19 SysOp: Spectre ~ 14:10:19 Using: FrontDoor 2.12.SW/Unregistered : 14:10:19 RTime: 12 May 19, 11:16:56 : 14:10:19 LTime: 12 May 19, 14:10:15 (1200) ~ 14:10:19 Site: Melbourne ~ 14:10:19 Flags: CM ~ 14:10:19 Phone: -Unpublished- - 14:10:19 sType: EMSI - 14:10:19 Password protected mail session * 14:10:26 Rcvd C:\FD\FILES\IN\000B47BF.$00; 191b, 191 CPS ? 14:10:30 Unable to send C:\FD\PLANES\06007C7B.PKT + 14:10:30 Mail transfer completed $ 14:10:30 From 21:3/105, 0:15, 0 (12 CPS) 14:10:30 No messages to send in this event - 14:10:31 Scanning received mail 14:10:31 Msg 33: from 21:3/105 to 21:1/100 = 14:56:44 RING = 14:56:49 RING = 14:56:50 CONNECT 57600/ARQ 14:56:50 Sending text in C:\FD\NOBBS.TXT + 14:56:53 The Lower Planes, 21:3/105 ~ 14:56:53 SysOp: Spectre ~ 14:56:53 Using: FrontDoor 2.12.SW/Unregistered : 14:56:53 RTime: 12 May 19, 12:00:08 : 14:56:53 LTime: 12 May 19, 14:56:50 (1200) ~ 14:56:53 Site: Melbourne ~ 14:56:53 Flags: CM ~ 14:56:53 Phone: -Unpublished- - 14:56:53 sType: EMSI - 14:56:53 Password protected mail session ? 14:57:05 Unable to send C:\FD\PLANES\06007C7B.PKT + 14:57:05 Mail transfer completed $ 14:57:05 From 21:3/105, 0:15, 0 14:57:05 No messages to send in this event [snip] Any thoughts appreciated, could it be a setting at his end as we have (only once) had a session earlier on where things did flow [snip] = 20:22:46 RING = 20:22:50 RING = 20:22:51 CONNECT 57600/ARQ 20:22:51 Sending text in C:\FD\NOBBS.TXT + 20:22:54 The Lower Planes, 21:3/105 ~ 20:22:54 SysOp: System Operator ~ 20:22:54 Using: FrontDoor 2.12.SW/Unregistered : 20:22:54 RTime: 09 May 19, 18:20:56 : 20:22:54 LTime: 09 May 19, 20:22:51 (1200) ~ 20:22:54 Site: Melbourne, Australia ~ 20:22:54 Phone: -Unpublished- - 20:22:54 sType: EMSI - 20:22:54 Password protected mail session ? 20:23:00 Unable to send C:\FD\TEMP\0013F47D.PKT + 20:23:01 Mail transfer completed $ 20:23:01 From 21:3/105, 0:10, 0 20:23:01 1 active bundle (1 on hold) = 20:30:47 RING = 20:30:51 RING = 20:30:52 CONNECT 57600/ARQ 20:30:52 Sending text in C:\FD\NOBBS.TXT + 20:30:55 The Lower Planes, 21:3/105 ~ 20:30:55 SysOp: System Operator ~ 20:30:55 Using: FrontDoor 2.12.SW/Unregistered : 20:30:55 RTime: 09 May 19, 18:28:56 : 20:30:55 LTime: 09 May 19, 20:30:52 (1200) ~ 20:30:55 Site: Melbourne, Australia ~ 20:30:55 Phone: -Unpublished- - 20:30:55 sType: EMSI - 20:30:55 Password protected mail session * 20:31:01 Sent C:\FD\TEMP\0013F47D.PKT; 462b, 462 CPS * 20:31:03 Sent C:\FD\PLANES\00A395CF.PKT; 3292b, 3292 CPS 20:31:03 Removed sent file C:\FD\PLANES\00A395CF.PKT * 20:31:05 Sent C:\FD\PLANES\00C23FE8.PKT; 1795b, 1795 CPS 20:31:05 Removed sent file C:\FD\PLANES\00C23FE8.PKT * 20:31:06 Sent C:\FD\PLANES\00C500F6.PKT; 1560b, 0 CPS 20:31:06 Removed sent file C:\FD\PLANES\00C500F6.PKT [snip] It's weird.
