Ok so changing to ATZ| eliminates the no dialtone error.  So because there is
a packet looking to go out it immediatley pulls up the dialing  window and
just stays there nothing happens, while watching the vmodem window there is
nothing happening there in the way of erors, it does show the comport active
tho.  Is there somewhere to define in FD that this indeed is internet dialing?

 TM> Are you trying to use FD/DOS or FD/2?  If FD/2, try FD/DOS and see if
 TM> you get the same error.

I suppose I could try that... I just feel like im missing something tho... Is
there any port settings for vmodem that you are aware of? I think I need to
find someones fdnode.ctl to make sure I have that piece correct.
