Thank you for the fast assist, but still no love. Using FD Terminal, the only
way it appears to be working is with a space between the ip address & the
destination port. For example:
Using FDTerminal: atdt 192.168.1.1 60177 works
atdt 192.168.1.1:60177 does not work
Phone 2:xxx/xxx 192.168.1.1 60177 - The problem with this is FD doesnt send
over the destination port to vmodem! So vmodem connects to the default port of
23.
Anything else (using : or [] ) is presented directly to vmodem, not
translated,
which vmodem (v 1.21) responds with a "Authoritative host not found received"
NO DIAL TONE.
While I am beginning to conclude this is more of an issue with SIO/VModem not
FD, I know this has been solved in the past but cant sem to find the magic
answer...
Ciao!
