No. Nor do I even know if he attempted to send me one. I haven't heard
anything, and with what he had originally posted it didn't look like it had
anything to do with netmail.

I would tend to agree it's not a mailer issue. It's possible EleBBS has a
different way to save/pack netmail that maybe isn't set right. Or if all that
is set right, then the same kind of settings would have to be used in
Fastecho. If EleBBS is saving the message as echomail, Fastecho will pass it
on as echomail.
