They don't call it "Fight-O-Net" for nothin'.  Don't go on your first
impression.  When I joined, Fidonet was winding down and it was absolute chaos
then.  Now it's moribund but has spurts of lif3 every now and again.

As for your opinion, it still matters, newbie or not.

I've run The Micronet Informtion Network for coming up on 22 years now without
any issue.
