It would not be the first time that there was intervention from the e-list keeper to recover a "stranded" listing... I would not call it foul play if the e-list keeper had marked the listing as "available" when Janis left. Unfortunately the sad reality is that foul play has been a significant factor on many occasions in Fidonet.
