I think that they actually DC> also believe that their "knowledge" of ancient-history FidoNet gives DC> them some kind of power, or something. Just do what I do: ignore them. I have "cheated" and fired up my twit filter, putting both Ward and Michiel in it along with a few other people, mainly from Zone 2. I could try to moderate them but since Ward and his sycophants helped "decentralize" Fidonet, Ward would just find another feed somewhere or create a strawman, much like how Bjorn Felten has been participating in the POLITICS echo as Lee Lofaso (and other echoes) after being banned in that echo in the early "naughties". They are not worth giving attention with their long history of histrionics, lying, backstabbing, and [insert your favorite noun here]. They are part of the "old guard", a.k.a. the "Fido Lords", who are dying off (some cases quite literally). We have better things to do. Instead of talking about these people, may I invite you to write some content for the FG and put your energy to good use? With my near-death experience in 2020, I learned that time is too precious to waste it on those who are not worth it. -- Sean ...
