Ummmm..... no.  He hasn't shut down.  He may not have posted here in 
*this* echo recently, but certainly has been posting elsewhere.

Also, for clarification - you tried ALL THREE of those contact methods I 
suggested above?  You looked in one of the more recent FG issues?  You 
netmailed him on FidoNet?
