It's not free but the good thing is that it's web based so you can easily allow other people to view some or all of your tree without having to import/export and the like. I use it in conjunction with ancestry and findmypast. They give me hints and I add them to the main tree. It's a bit more work but I'm in control of my data and who can see it. It does have a pretty nice duplicate finder and you can use different parameters such as complete name or soundex name search, with or without date of birth, place of birth, and other information.
