   Hello Karel!

09 May 21 20:09, you wrote to me:

I think I see what the problem is. The whole Fidonet node system is on c:\bbs
on my Windows server. I have created a share "bbs" directly in that folder.
Therefore, when I map smb:///smb to /Volumes/smb on my Mac, what I see
as root of that share is in fact a subfolder of C:\ on the server. To use
mappath I would need to map smb:///c to /Volumes/c on my Mac. There
are various reasons I'm unwilling to do that, not least because I don't want
to expose the whole OS drive on a remote system.

I had tried this with MAPPATH:
MAPPATH C:\bbs /Volumes/bbs

However, this is what would probably work:
MAPPATH C:\ /Volumes/c

Too bad.

Regards
Fermin
