I'll probably end up using something similar. Thinking of publishing GoldEd as
a Terminal Services remote app. Even on Mac, I could then just run the program
via RDP, no need to connect to the whole desktop.

If I start playing around with SSH that means I'll transfer the whole thing
onto a Linux VM and use SSH from my Mac to connect and launch GoldEd. Or even
start GoldEd remotely. About that (running GoldEd remotely), by the way, it
looks like I have run into the next possible show stopper. This didn't happen
before, but now I get this when I try to get out of an Area on GoldEd running
remotely on my Mac:

Not sure what that is all about?
