I remember when tossing messages and compiling the nodelist (Goldnode) would
take a noticeable amount of time. It was quite a pleasant shock how fast this
software runs on modern hardware.

I'll look into the "flags" thing, thanks! I usually have a "tail" window of
BinkD running and see if something comes in, then just use "Alt"+"S" to
rescan. But why do something manually if the system works for you...
