I don't recall there being a GoldED 2.51. There was a 2.41, from 1993.

GoldED 2.50 was released in 1995 and may have Y2K bugs.

There's a much newer snapshot from 2017 of the 32-bit DOS DPMI version on
SourceForge at:

This is pretty close to the current version. I've not tried it but I suspect
it requires a 386 with at least 1 MB RAM.
