Just wondering, do you have 'editmenu no' in your config? I caught these two
paragraphs under the 'template' option, and am somewhat confused by them. Does
'editmenu' need to be disabled? Or is it just another place to possibly select
a template from? Either way, I have it disabled here, already.. and don't
think I have ever had to manually select a template from a drop down list or
anything.

    Templates defined in Random System groups always override the
    globally defined templates, except when selected from the EDITMENU
    or when automatic template matching is in effect.

    To override the automatic template matching, start by selecting a
    template manually using the READchangetemplate (Ctrl-T) command or
    the EDITMENU.
