Yes sir. Use the AREADEF keyword to point directly to mail.shd in your data
directory.

While reading it definitely works, I'm still in the process of testing writing
to it, I just haven't gotten to it recently. It's been a busy week
recertifying and going to safety meetings. :/

Setting it up as a netmail area in Golded didn't seem to work right, so I'm
wondering if you just set it up as 'local' and let Synchronet do what it needs
to do with the message.
