I haven't been able to sahoot a pistol in years due to advancecd diabetic
neuropathy (unable to feel much in my hands). For home defense, I do have a
Mossberg 500 20-gauge pump "youth" (smaller length) shotgun for home
defense.

Everyone recognizes that sound of a shotgun being loaded.

I can deal with the recoil and I don't really have to aim until I get sown
to the two slug shells I have in it. It holds 7 shells. I have the first
three as rock salt, two with 00 buckshot, and the last two are slugs.

I live in a nice neighborhood but my apartment complex is full of drug
dealers. I am unable to move at this time so I keep myself protected.
