Hi everyone,

The Sevier County Hamfet 2020 is back on September 19 from 8 AM to 4 PM.

It's at the Sevier County (TN) Fairgrounds at 754 Old Knoxville Highway,
Sevierville, TN 37862-3138.

There will be VE testing about 1300.  You need a FRN # and state ID with photo.
$15 for the exam; cash preferred but they'll take a credit card.  No checks.

Prizes to win include a Yaesu FT-857D and "the Connect System Dual Band 800D"
as well as an ICOM IC-7100.

Concerning these prizes, looks like you can enter even if you can't be there.

"Also if you wish to buy tickets for the Grand Prize Drawing and unable to
attend this years Hamfest, you can purchase  as follows:

5 Tickets are 20.00

10 Tickets are 40.00

20 Tickets are  70.00

We will mail the tickets  to you less the stub which will be placed in the bin
, for the drawing of the 2 Grand Prizes, and ship the radio to you., note this
is only for those who are not able to attend, does not include any door prizes
given away.

the Signman of Baton Rouge, and a few others.  ARRL will be officially
represented as well.
