Has anyone seen APRS messages from around the world, specifically on Thursdays?

I asked about this on another net, but didn't get any response.

I've been watching APRS on and off at random times, and a while ago on a
Thursday I noticed a bunch of various messages with the tag #APRSThursdays.
Seems like a weekly "APRS net" or something.
