I had a lot of fun calling around RV> the world. Back to Echolink or is there another service using RV> VoIP to connect my Cisco phone? You can use either HamsOverIP (hamsoverip.com) or AmateurWire (amateurwire.org). You submit the original copy of your ham radio license, plus your name, callsign, email, phone number, and DMR ID if you have one. For those who don't have a "hard phone", you can use the GroundWire app to set up a SIP account for either or both on your iOS on Android phone. HamsOverIP users can contact AmateurWire users, and vice versa. The nice thing is that you don't have to give your landline or cellphone number out over the air. I'm on both, but I haven't used either one all that much. Also, there is a $10 initial purchase fee for the Groundwire app. Daryl, N5VLZ ...
