It's why this echo has a "real name" rule but it's ignored. If people signed using their callsign would be fine too. In my local ham circles, we refer to each other in conversation either by our callsign's suffix or full call. I have a lot of my online friends who know me as "digimaus". They will call me either "digi" or "maus" even if we're talking voice. Many don't know my real name. But I know many of you in here so that's why I don't push the real name thing. Since you call from Nigel's board, I'm cool with it. -- Sean KS4TD --- MBSE BBS v1.1.2 (Linux-x86_64) * Origin: Outpost BBS * Johnson City, TN (1:18/200) SEEN-BY: 1/110 18/200 105/81 106/201 128/187 129/14 305 153/7715 154/110 SEEN-BY: 218/700 226/30 227/114 229/110 111 200 206 300 307 312 317 SEEN-BY: 229/400 426 428 470 664 700 705 266/512 291/111 292/854 320/219 SEEN-BY: 322/757 342/200 396/45 460/58 633/280 712/848 902/26 5020/400 SEEN-BY: 5075/35 PATH: 18/200 229/426 |
