Yes my first modem was a 14.4k - brand new technology only just released. It
wasn't long after I got my first 1x cd-rom drive. Was on DOS 6.2 with Windows
3.1 but mostly used DOS.

Ah can't blame them, only the die hard use BBS these days. It's heaps of fun
and you get to chat to people you would never reach on facebook or reddit. At
least with BBS and FTN only people that want to be here are here, and the
trolls and other horrible people are too busy on twitter to bother us here :)
