The development that I live in negotiated with Charter to give residents
faster internet.  It 
involved modems capable of 1 gig up and down.  The router is separate from the
modem 
and is totally configurable.

It arrived today.  My job was to take my Mystic BS computer down and try to
get it back up 
in a reasonable amount of time.  Took longer than I wanted but now I have a
static IP 
address in my home at no additional cost.

My Spectrum app allows me to do the port forwarding.  It almost makes me want
to quit 
paying the annual $70.00 to host The Hobby Line! BBS.

What percentage of you pay for hosting or run it from your home computer?
