MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
Title: Bacon-Fried Apples - 3 Ways
Categories: Five, Fruits, Pork, Herbs
Yield: 4 Serving
1 lg Red apple; cored and sliced
- 1/4" thick
2 tb Bacon drippings
MMMMM--------------------CHOOSE YOUR FAVORITE-------------------------
ds Cinnamon
ds Nutmeg
ds Garam masala
Wash and slice apple in 1/4" slices.
Heat bacon dripping in a frying pan over medium to
medium-high heat until melted.
Add the apples and allow to cook undisturbed for 2 - 3
minutes to allow them the brown. Then flip and cook for
an additional 2 - 3 minutes.
Sprinkle with the seasoning of your choice of cinnamon,
nutmeg or garam masala. Or a combination.
Enjoy!
You might want to double the recipe if you intend to
share. I would happily gobble up the entire thing myself
without sharing. - UDD
