Occassionally I can even spot an owl, which > is cool because my wife likes owls, I live in an area that is on the edge of a city. I am within walking distance of a cornfield, a cattle farm, a tobacco field, and some wooded areas. :) We get deer through here all the time. Plenty of squirrels. I have never seen a racoon or a (live) opposum but I know the latter is around anyway. While not in my immediate area, there are plenty of cliffs nearby. The vultures seem to like hanging out in those. In more recent years, I have actually seen a bunch just hanging around in some not so tall trees 2-3 miles from here. I am always on the lookout for owls but never seem to see any. Do sometimes see hawks, but never get a close enough look to see what kind.
