Hi Benny, >> It's not a big deal to implement this with some restrictions: no >> points and downlinks, only one uplink. > will it work ?, does all androids have static ips ? It will work if you have a static IP, or you can change your IP adress on your router and link this to the binkd port like i can do here. I have test this and it works perfect. > if you implemeent secrets, make its a default option on have it disabled Sergey was talking about the secret of AftherShock normoly this was not to be that everone know it already ;) >> Does anyone really needs this. > i dont, but other geeks think its needed ? :) Mebay you dont use it becoss it is not there, like i told also to Sergey when the option is not out there no one can use it. Also we moving faster then we know, mobile devices or tablets are already verry fast and te will become faster, also it can almost do everything what i PC can do, even i can compile sources on my Andriod device itself no need of any PC... So what i think there will be time that we dont need a PC anmore, and this will not take long... Also all fidonet software on PC is verry old and outdated, there are a few that are up to date but not compatile with like a Mac or other systems.. At last it will be cheaper to run a node on a Andriod, less power use.... >> I've heard this feature will be in the >> next version of AfterShock, yet it is a secret and I didn't tell you >> anything :) > well i more like to see fileticker to dropbox > server based, not client based This has nothing to do with Fidonet, i think...
