You are fully correct on this, indeed i'm using it the same way, and there is
a app on andriod that you can sync your IP adress of your device with DTDNS, i
have done some testing here with a app as a FTP server what is out there on
the same way and sync my Andiod IP with DTDNS and change the IP adress on my
router linked to port 24554 as for IP port to see if this was working.

And indeed it's working perfect.

About the NNTP stuff, be carrefull with this, not all echo's of fidonet can be
gate out, read the moderator rules !

There are some echo's that's is forbidden to gate out to internet on any way.

What i try to tell with this is simple we moven to new thing and need to
follow like apple do with his IOS when you dont have at last a 4g you can not
install IOS7.

About the data what Benny is telling of, i have here on my ISP a unlimited
mobile data use, everywhere on the street i can use wifi with my account.

Ok i pay a lot of money for this 149 euro/200 us every month, but i have for
all my options unlimited access. Even a statig IP adress.

But i dont have a problem with that high price, this is my only hobby i have,
dont drink dont go out only work and fidonet that's all... i need..

Greetings,

Rudi
