I wanted to see whether hpt could behave better with it. But I saw that the packet password had the length of 11 instead of 8 characters, so that all the rest is shifted for three bytes. I think if a user wants to use too long password, Hotdoged should tell the user about the error in some way and then either truncate the password or refuse to send the packet.
