Someone said you should regard the "private" video conferences you have: as a
loud conversation in a public place. If you don't mind that, you could use
Zoom.

Jitsi was sort of recommended by a Dutch privacy organisation, as being the
least bad choice privacy wise. Given the small amount of time they could spend
on investigating the alternatives for Zoom.
