My bad. The device is only 7 yrs old:

   Network Technology
   GSM / CDMA / HSPA / LTE
   Launch Announced 2013, January. Released 2013, April

But LTE seems to be fairly recent, still.   I was only getting  
HSPA at best with a Roger's Stick (USB dongle or mobile) prior.

Someone just gave me the Q10.  I was not going to complain. I  
unlocked it, installed the latest OS offering and only used it as  
a camera, FM radio, and its wifi ability to surf for its first 3  
years in my hands.
