I had assured myself that I was going to settle with a GUI- based point system. No one was going to convince me otherwise. Then upon a casual mention of OpenXP by someone, I took a look. Wow. After exploring OpenXP for a bit, the GUI-based ones seem more tedious and with much less features. And I looked at Multimail for a bit too. It seemed far too limiting for me. Managing/switching between different QWK files to search for a message or to remember where I saw one of interest got old for me fast. OpenXP stores everything in a database much like a BBS itself. Searching, marking, holding, is very easy. We all look for and expect different things. --- OpenXP 5.0.49 * Origin: (2:221/1.58) SEEN-BY: 1/123 30/0 90/1 105/81 120/340 123/131 129/305 154/10 203/0 SEEN-BY: 218/700 221/1 6 360 226/30 227/114 702 229/101 424 426 452 SEEN-BY: 229/550 664 700 1016 1017 240/1120 5832 249/206 317 400 261/38 SEEN-BY: 280/464 5003 282/1038 292/854 301/0 1 101 113 123 317/3 322/757 SEEN-BY: 342/200 423/81 5058/104 PATH: 221/1 301/1 229/426 |
