Google Play Removes 9 Apps for SECRETLY HARVESTING Facebook  
Passwords! (Report)

Security researchers at Dr. Web found ten "trojan" apps (nine
of which were available on Google Play) have been downloaded
5,856,0101 times. They masqueraded as innocent smartphone
assistants but in reality were stealing FB login details.

The apps reportedly include: Processing Photo, App Lock Keep,
Rubbish Cleaner, Horoscope Daily, Horoscope Pi, App Lock
Manager, Lockit Master, Inwell Fitness, and PIP Photo

Users were tricked into remove in-app adverts by logging in
through Facebook, when a JavaScript code was used to hijack the
details.
