Google has disabled features in Google Maps that show live  
traffic data and how busy shops and businesses are.

The Maps' live traffic feature which flags congestion and road  
conditions has been disabled in Ukraine, as Russian and  
Ukrainian authorities may be able to track each others'  
movements. (New York Post)
