|  UL speed misnomer?  |
|  25 May 24 08:47:00  |
MSGID: 2:221/1.58@fidonet 14c22629 PID: OpenXP/5.0.58 (Win32) CHRS: ASCII 1 TZUTC: -0400 I recently subscribed to fibre. The promise was 25Mbps UL/DL. So far so good wrt download speed. But when I needed to SFTP a few large files to my server, the max transfer rate I could get was 300KiB/s which translates to 2.5Mbps. So, I assume the UL speed limitation is placed at the server? Fast.com reports 30+Mbps bidirectional. Anyone else here experience limited/reduced UL speeds during ftp transfers? What services provide unrestricted UL speeds? -- ../|ug --- OpenXP 5.0.58 * Origin: A turtle that surfs the dark web.
