Thx. I couldn't find anything about the issue. One link takes  
us to https://ebay.ca/sts, but that reports that all is OK.

I wanted to make a purchase, and couldn't because the login  
wasn't working. However, it allowed me to continue as a Guest.  
Then, after the purchase, it allowed me to "add a password",  
and THAT account works, albiet the login screen looks  
different.
