One thing I noticed that if Kurt POLLS ME and sends me a packet that the
connection is closed without an error (see log below). Normally I POLL
HIM every hour.

Kurt have you found any log as described by Rob below?

-> For incoming BinkP sessions, the BinkIT activity is logged where your
-> "services" activity is logged. In Windows, that'd be in the "Services"
window
-> of the Synchronet control planel. Like this (copy/pasted from sbbsctrl):
->   9/14  02:45:44p  8116 BINKP connection accepted from: 67.180.133.226 port
-> 62645
->   9/14  02:45:45p  8116 BINKP Hostname: c-67-180-133-226.hsd1.ca.comcast.net
-> [67.180.133.226]
->   9/14  02:45:47p  8116 BINKP BinkIT/2.27 invoked with options:
->   9/14  02:45:47p  8116 BINKP JSBinkP/1.120 inbound connection from
-> 67.180.133.226:62645

-> On *nix, this is typically found in your syslog output when running sbbs

-> For outgoing BinkP sessions, the BinkIT activity is found where your
"Events"
