hehe... well, those who poll my system without delivering anything are wasting
time since there is no mail processed except at specific times of the day...
if they are delivering mail, that's another thing altogether and not a problem
at all...

not really... not in this day and time of fully connected 24x7 internet... my
main feed drops off mail here sometimes several times in 5 minutes... his
system is set to deliver as soon as it is ready... 1 message or 100... it
doesn't matter...

there used to be a system that polled here looking for mail (nothing being
delivered at all) every 5 or 10 minutes... i noticed that because my logs
seems rather large and a quick perusal showed what was happening... so i let
them know and now, with even more connections and mail flowing, the logs are
smaller in size ;)
